Desch Plantpak shows innovatory power at IPM

Desch Plantpak shows innovatory power at IPM The IPM is an important moment in the year for Desch Plantpak. Valuable contacts are made and maintained, and last year was the first time Desch Plantpak presented itself to the German market as one team. This year Desch Plantpak is giving its innovatory power a central position. The stand where Desch Plantpak is presenting itself can certainly be called special. If you look carefully you will discover the forms of a pot and tray in its design. In the centre of the stand (the pot itself) is the kitchen and the bar is constructed around it. “Further, we are trying to keep the stand as open as possible. The faces that are part of Desch Plantpak must be easily visible from outside. People look for things that they recognise and we certainly don’t want to put up any barriers” says Bart Evers who, as regional manager, is extremely busy with the fair.

Living room feeling

Prior to the fair Bart Evers has regularly been looking for cooperation from a few machine builders and growers. “We will be showing a few innovations at the fair but we also want to show how you work with them in practice. That is why we have asked the machine builders to use our products when they are demonstrating their machines at the fair.” The organiser is also pleased to have growers involved in the fair. “We asked a few growers if they would supply us with plants and suchlike with which we can create the ‘living room feeling’ on our stand. We’ve had cooperation from all sectors of the horticultural world. Suppliers of bulbs in pots are ensuring that the bulbs are in flower during the fair and from some of them we are even getting the new varieties. But of course, the most important thing is Desch Plantpak’s entire thermoform range. This will be presented to the fair’s public in a well-organised way. The innovations will be particularly prominent because they have been coloured gold especially for this event. Anyone who is curious about the Desch Plantpak stand is welcome at the IPM, which takes place at the Messe Essen from Thursday the 27th thru Sunday the 30th of January 2005. The stand number is 118 in Hall 1.
